Retina Associates Welcomes Dr. Marc Peden

We are very excited to announce Dr. Marc C. Peden will be joining Retina Associates of Florida in January 2012. He has been on the faculty of the University of Florida in Gainesville for the last 3 years.

Dr. Peden is a Florida doctor to the core. He was born and raised in Jacksonville. He graduated from the University of Florida with high honors and was AOA at University of Florida College of Medicine. He also completed his Residency and Vitreo-retinal Fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He has been an Assistant Professor on the faculty at University of Florida College of Medicine since July 2009 and Director of the Vitreo-retinal Service there since November 2010.

Dr. Peden will be seeing patients in our offices in Tampa, North Tampa, Lakeland and Plant City for consultations concerning patients with macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, ocular tumors, uveitis, retinal detachments and hypotony.
